Governor Radović participated in the EU – Western Balkans Summit

The CBCG Governor Irena Radović participated in the EU – Western Balkans Summit in Brussels, organised by “Friends of Europe”, one of the most influential European forums bringing together decision-makers, representatives of European institutions, academia, and the business community. This year’s summit gathered more than 200 key players from Europe and the region, dedicated to deepening cooperation, fostering economic growth, and accelerating the region’s integration into the European Union.

CBCG Enters the Final Phase of European Integration in the Financial Services Area

At its meeting held on 28 November 2025, the Council of the Central Bank of Montenegro, chaired by Governor Irena Radović, adopted the drafts of three laws which adoption represents a key prerequisite for meeting the closing benchmarks for the closure of negotiating Chapter 9 – Financial Services. With this, the CBCG has fully completed its obligations in aligning the national framework with the EU acquis governing financial services.
